Features

Uses X-Plane's own weather engine

FSGRW feeds X-Plane 11's real weather with its own data, so X-Plane blends the weather between the airports the way it always does.

Airports match their reports

Every airport with a report gets that report, so ATIS and the weather at the field agree.

Winds aloft

The winds aloft come from the FSGRW snapshot, from the ground to the flight levels.

No jumps around you

Around your aircraft the weather stays as it is while you fly, so clouds and winds do not jump with every update. The distance is up to you, 100 nm by default.

Every 15 minutes

A new snapshot every 15 minutes, loaded in the background while you fly.

Historic weather

Fly in the weather of a past date and time, up to 30 days back. It runs on from there as time passes, the way it was that day.

Status

FSGRW for X-Plane 11 is in development. It runs as a plugin in X-Plane 11 and uses the same global weather snapshots as the other FSGRW products.

Your account

FSGRW for X-Plane 11 is a product of its own. Like every FSGRW product, it can be registered on one computer at a time.
