Features

Weather where you fly

FSGRW sets the sim's weather to the current FSGRW snapshot at your aircraft's position, and follows you along your route.

Matches the nearest report

Near an airport with a report of its own, the weather is based on that report, with the surroundings fitting to it.

Winds aloft

Wind layers from the ground to the flight levels come from the snapshot, not just the wind at the ground.

Gradual changes

New weather is blended in step by step, so clouds, wind and pressure change smoothly while you fly. How gradually is up to you, from immediate to very smooth.

Every 15 minutes

A new snapshot every 15 minutes, loaded in the background while you fly.

On your EFB tablet

FSGRW is an app on the EFB tablet. Registration, current weather, smoothing and on/off are all there, and the weather works from the start of every flight without opening it.

Historic weather

Fly in the weather of a past date and time, up to 30 days back. It runs on from there as time passes, the way it was that day.

Status

FSGRW for MSFS 2024 is in development. It runs inside Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and uses the same global weather snapshots as the other FSGRW products.

Your account

FSGRW for MSFS 2024 is a product of its own. Like every FSGRW product, it can be registered on one computer at a time.
