Features

Weather all around you

The weather stations around your aircraft get their weather from the current FSGRW snapshot, including the areas between airports where there is no report of their own.

Airports match their reports

Where an airport reports its weather, that is the weather you get there, and the surroundings fit to it.

Winds, turbulence and icing aloft

Wind layers, turbulence and icing come from the snapshot for each altitude, not just the conditions at the ground.

No sudden wind shifts

FSGRW sets the wind at your aircraft itself, through FSUIPC, and changes it gradually. No more sudden jumps in wind direction or speed.

Every 15 minutes

A new snapshot every 15 minutes, loaded in the background while you fly.

Light on memory

FSGRW loads only the weather around your aircraft, so FSX keeps its memory for scenery and aircraft.

Right in the Add-ons menu

FSGRW runs inside FSX and appears in its Add-ons menu. Registration, information and on/off are all there.

Historic weather

Fly in the weather of a past date and time, up to 30 days back. It runs on from there as time passes, the way it was that day.

Status

FSGRW for FSX is in development. It runs as a module inside FSX (Steam Edition or boxed) and uses the same global weather snapshots as FSGRW for X-Plane 12.

Your account

FSGRW for FSX is a product of its own. Like every FSGRW product, it can be registered on one computer at a time.
